2. Efficacy
Semaglutide molecule, which acts as a GLP-1 agonist. It mimics the structure of GLP-1 and activates its receptors. Studies have shown that obese people are often less sensitive to the hormones that make us feel full. But by slowing gastric emptying, drugs such as semaglutide can restore satiety in these patients.

4. How to take tablets
●Take on an empty stomach, before the first meal of the day、It is recommended to take it when you get up。 or at least 2 hours after the last time you ate or drank
●Take 1 tablet with about half a cup of water (120mL or less). Swallow directly, do not cut, crush, or chew the tablet.

● If you need to take water, food or other medications after taking the medicine, take it at least 30 minutes after taking the medicine.

If a dose is missed, the missed dose should be skipped and the next dose taken the next day. (Do not double the dose to avoid the risk of overdose)

5. Dosage for tablets

●7mg once daily for at least one month.

●If well tolerated, the dose can be increased to 14 mg once daily as recommended by the physician.

●Do not use two 7mg tablets to reach a  14mg dose or split one 14mg tablet to reach a  7mg dose.

6. Major side effects

Sometimes digestive symptoms such as stomach upset, bloating, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, etc. are present. Most events were mild to moderate in severity and short in duration. If you experience persistent severe abdominal pain accompanied by vomiting, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention immediately. To minimize these side effects, patients are advised to take the following:

● Reduce the amount of food you eat at each meal to avoid being overly full.

● Stop eating when you feel full, and you don't have to force yourself to empty your plate.

● Avoid greasy or fried foods, which may exacerbate gastrointestinal reactions.

● Maintain adequate fluid intake, but avoid drinking plenty of water immediately after taking the medicine.

● Stay positive and understand that side effects are usually mild and short-lived.

● Even if nausea develops early in treatment, most people can continue to take the medication.
